Turner & Irvine Foundation

Who we are

Built for practical support—and wider possibility.

Turner & Irvine Foundation exists to support youth groups and youth development organizations working to give young people a fair start.

Our mission

Support the people already doing the work.

We provide practical, direct support—supplies, funding for educational trips, health-related services, and food-related services—so the organizations already serving young people can reach further.

Our focus is furthering educational opportunities for youth who could not otherwise afford them. Each of the foundation's four program categories addresses a practical part of participation, well-being, or educational access.

We work alongside youth organizations rather than around them, meeting practical needs so the people who know these young people best can keep doing what they do best.

Practical

Focused on concrete needs that can otherwise become barriers.

Partner-led

Working with youth-serving community organizations.

Forward-moving

Opening access to education, participation, and growth.
